Pastor Deb will be retiring in June 2017
Pastor Deb is a second career ordained elder who is “un-retiring” to join the Dorranceton faith community. Most recently, she has served as Assisting Elder to the District Superintendent of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre District and as a Hospice/Hospital Chaplain for Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. She served four churches in the Wyoming Conference before attempting retirement.
As someone who responded to God’s call later in life, she brings with her a wealth of life experiences, a strong administrative background, and a passion for God’s in-breaking Kingdom. Her strengths are in spiritual direction, bereavement counseling, and conflict resolution. Her admitted weakness is technology, but she loves to learn new things.
Coming with Pastor Deb is her husband of 25 years, David Rose (Dave) who enjoys gardening, fishing and hunting. Together they look forward to becoming part of the church and the community.
